Alaska Fishing Report

The 1st month of fishing here in alaska has been great with today being outstanding
when one of our clients from wasilla alaska landed a 300lb 7 foot halibut, attached
are photos,

there have been more big halibut this year so far than thye past 5 or 6 years, and
the big ones usually dont move in til june 10th or so, I think it might be looking
like a good season for big fish.

king salmon in the salt has been good for us with 2-7 kings a day off anchor poiny
and only one day did we not catch any kings, however most are feeder kings, and the
spawners are returning either late or weak, we fished the kenai river the first
time on monday and the hot weather we are having melted the snowpack too fast and
dirtied up the water, so might be a few days before it is fishable again.

we still have space available throughout the summer and peak times in mid to late
july open so call me and we will get you hooked up.
