I have been a resident of Alaska since 1981, and have been in business since 1989. With 18 years of local alaska fishing experience for salmon and halibut in both freshwater and saltwater , Capt. Mel Erickson has the knowledge needed to make your trip a success.

We are fully licensed and insured. Alaskan Game Fisher is a owner/operator run charter outfit where a one on one personal relationship with our clients can be offered. A safe, enjoyable and successful trip is our goal.

You will be fishing alaska on board the "GAMEFISHER" our 30 ft. custom built sportfisher or our 20 ft custom river boat both fitted with best in electronics and tackle.

 

Captain Collin Means
Collin has worked on the Gamefisher for the past several years as a deckhand, he now has his Captains license & skippers the halibut boat when Captain Mel Erickson is running salmon charters on the Kenai River. We can now run both boats everyday. Collin has been having some excellent catches this year as here he is holding up a 110pound halibut & a 86 pounder.
