Our Halibut boat is custom built here in Alaska
specifically designed for for our beach launching at Deep Creek &
Anchor Point.
The "GAMEFISHER" is 30 feet in length
& has a 10 foot wide beam. The extra width in the beam makes her much
more stable & more room on the back deck for fishing than most other
boats in the Alaska halibut fishery. Why fish in a cramped boat when you
can fish on the GAMEFISHER!!!!

The cabin is full enclosed with toilet for the fisher girls. There at
are 2 air ride seats & 2 large bench seats for a comfortable ride
to & from the fishing grounds. She is outfitted with all the electronics
such as depth sounder, Radar, GPS & radio.
the cabin is heated to take the chill off on the cooler days.
The boat is powered by twin 225hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboards that are so
quiet that it is hard to hear them. The tackle is the finest money can
buy with Penn International 16s two speed reels & light weight rods.
these reels make it very easy for women & kids to reel in halibut
from over 200 feet deep with 3-4 pounds of lead.
We rig our reels with 100 pound spectra super braid line, with this line
we able to use lighter weights than most boats which is very much appreciated
while reeling in from the depths. Our light weight rods make it fun to
catch fish on as you can feel the fight of the fish unlike the broomstick
rods most other boats use.
Another benefit our boat provides is rod holders for the halibut rods.
Most other captains will not let their anglers use rod holders while fishing
thus resulting in having to hold your rod all day long.

Our Kenai River boat is a 20 foot Willie Predator,
It has
a very wide 6 foot bottom giving it lots of room for fighting the big
salmon of the Kenai River. She is outfitted with Bentley Rivermaster chairs
with high backs & armrests. These are the finest seats available,
& make for very comfortable seating for the long 8-10 hour days spent
on the Kenai. There are 4 large adjustable seat boxes for storing your
personal items along with adjustable rod holders. The boat is stored at
night on a trailer & we can move daily to any location up & down
the river to where the best fishing might be with short boat rides to
the fishing grounds.
